New Agers express this kind of “energy” in terms of “Chi, Auras, Chakras, Prana, Vibrations”, etc. This is the kind of “energy” that is always mentioned by astrologers, mediums, psychics, fortune tellers, gurus, etc. This is an imaginary, abstract , intangible kind of “energy”, it CANNOT be detected by any scientific instrument. it DOES NOT EXIST, it’s BULLSHIT !!

I recommend Jane Roberts ….she coined the famous phrase “we create our own reality”…..I l have lived by this for many years but it’s not about science it’s about perception/attitude and it makes wonderful sense.

. But I don’t give a damn shit if my life is changing the way it has been changing the past 1 year due to positive thinking or a proved/provable theory 
. Who cares?!?! I’m a computer scientist and you know what’s our motto 
: “If it works don’t touch it!!!”. And besides… provable… maybe not with TODAYS science. Who knows what crazy theory will emerge that will prove everything. You’re free to believe in whatever works for you. Same for me

Started reading Jane Roberts over thirty years ago………have read and studied this and many other similar works in detail over the last 40 years,,,,,,and it STILL ain’t SCIENCE …….it’s positive thinking!

If you read further into the Law of Attraction you will see that what he says is exactly right and that is what the good loa teachers say as well (e.g. Bob Doyle) – “like does NOT attract like”, “good thought are not enough” and so on. Please read a bit more.

. Please don’t generalize by putting everything under the label of “new age shit”. You have simply not read enough about the law of attraction and thus cannot judge it properly. The law of attraction DOES speak about energy in the scientific sense – this energy has been measured (e.g. the energy of thought) There are other people like you, who want scientific proof and that’s very natural 
– please read “The Holographic Universe”-do ur own research before judging
how do you know it’s now true
?? Science is not a fixed thing 
– it’s developing and discovering new things day after day after day! But what The Secret was trying to convey is that all of that IS actually scientifically proven by the quantum physics. So 1) we do have some scientific explanation already; 2) science keeps discovering things; 3) if something is still not proven scientifically doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist

Yet yourself, (as well as the majority of people), think that a THEORY is just an opinion or a speculation … in everyday talk “theory” means “guess” or “opinion”.
People usually DO NOT know what “THEORY” means in a scientific sense, as it takes on a completely different meaning than in the colloquial context.
